Our Moon: Known and Unknown

Our Moon is one of the most familiar objects in our sky, but there is still a lot we don’t know about itSpacecraft landings there seek ice, metals, rocks, and minerals that – we hope! – can tell us much more about the history of our satellite. This talk will include an overview of what we know and what we still need to learn about our closest neighbor in space.  This is sure to be an interesting, educational and informative event.  Please join us.

After the Presentation LCAS Members with their powerful telescopes will show the Night Sky to Attendees (weather permitting).
