Photo Greg Lutes - First image is Haley's comet. This famous comet is what started it all for us traveling down to Gran Quivira. I used a Nikon SLR camera attached to the top of my Celerstron telescope. I think the film was 3200 iso film. Probably a five minute exposure. This photo was taken from the patio of the West house at GQ. 3200 film - 5:00 minute exposure - 50mm lens - piggy backed camera on scope. Gran Quivira in (Spring) 1986.
