While not in the path of totality solar observers in the Chicagoland area will be treated to a fascinating sight as 90% of the Sun will be blocked by the Moon!

The eclipse will start at 12:51pm Central Time and ends at 3:22pm.

Always follow proper precautions when observing the Sun and only use solar rated viewing equipment.
